How Do you Ship Your Product?

How Long are my steaks good in the freezer?
As long as you keep your steaks steadily frozen, they should be good for 12-18 months. The USDA created a helpful guideline about this very topic.
How SHOuld I thaw my products?
We recommend placing the vacuum-sealed products in your refrigerator for 48 hours. We’re also realists and know this isn’t always possible. To thaw your products quickly, place the vacuum-sealed products in cold water.
Are their antibiotics in your beef?
Animals in the beef supplied by Hayden Farms are not administered antibiotics. That said, all sick animals are treated if need. If an animal is treated it is recorded appropriately and they are not included in the beef supplied to D2 Meats.
Do you Own the cattle?
On paper, Daniel owns Hayden Farms and Danielle owns DSquaredMeats. When cattle have their one bad day, the product is purchased by D2 Meats.
How long is your product aged?
15 days.
What does Dry-Aged Mean?
Dry-aging means whole sides of beef, or primal cuts, are hung in open air at a temperature just above freezing and left to age for several weeks. This allows the meat to slowly dehydrate, which changes the texture and flavor.
